Today, The Hollywood Reporter announced information on Krypton which is headed to SyFy. They also go onto mention a way more interesting DC TV Show headed to TNT called Titans. They go onto reveal that the core team will indeed consist of Nightwing as the leader as well as Starfire, and Raven. Calling them the "Junior Justice League" DC CCO Geoff Johns also went onto reveal that filming on the pilot beings next year!

The question of this day in age in comic film or TV adaptions is are they all connected? Marvel has done it first literally connecting their movies with television and soon netflix shows like Daredevil all into one massive shared universe. So the question remained will DC do the same thing? This is something that has plagued DC fans since Arrow lit up the small screen on The CW. Will Stephen Amell's Arrow ever meet up with Henry Cavill's Superman? Well at this past year's Comic-Con it seemed DC head Geoff Johns put that theory to rest that Arrow & it's spin-off show The Flash are in a separate universe than Henry Cavill and Ben Afflecks Batman & Superman. But was he lying? He was and he wasn't.

Today, Geoff Johns spoke with BuzzFeed to confirm that DC is trying to actual create a cinematic multiverse!

“We look at it as the multiverse. We have our TV universe and our film universe, but they all co-exist. For us, creatively, it’s about allowing everyone to make the best possible product, to tell the best story, to do the best world. Everyone has a vision and you really want to let the visions shine through. I think the characters are iconic enough. I like [Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.] a lot. I love what Marvel does. I’m a huge fan. It’s just a different approach.”

Now for some of you who don't know DC had a multiverse with multiple "earths". That means one superhero may live their whole life in one universe and have a slightly different version on the second earth. Or one superhero maybe one person on Earth-1 but on Earth-2 the mantle is taken up by someone else like Jay Garrick & Barry Allen both being The Flash. And The Flash is the one who first learns of the multiverse....Which is also teased at the end of The Flash pilot episode.

Now if DC can actually pull off doing a multiverse that means while the TV & Film universe are connected they are separate at the same time. What ever happens on film won't dictate what happens on TV and vice-versa. So the writers still have creative freedom and aren't held down by each others contradicting storylines. That is until DC finally pulls out their wild card and does a Crisis on Infinite Earths movie which will have all the universes collide into one another.  But this type of massive movie is obviously far down the line for DC...

So  as far as we know we have the Man of Steel Universe, the Arrow-Verse and last week Sandman creator Neil Gaiman mentions DC has yet to announce a slate of Vertigo Universe movies that are coming out like Sandman or Justice League: Dark which would give us a third universe. It's unknown where Gotham, Constantine, Lucifer, Teen Titans, Supergirl, or Static Shock fit within these universes or others.

Lastly, he adds that maybe one day they will have a crossover but not anytime soon...

"There’s been discussions over the years for both, obviously. You never say never. Maybe one day we’ll link a show to a film if it makes sense, but the creative process we’re going through right now is to let the stuff live and breathe and be its own thing and own it."

Static Shock or simply Static in the comics has been a fan favorite teenage superhero since it's early days on Kids! WB. He made splashes around the net went the character appeared on a couple episodes on Cartoon Network's acclaimed series Young Justice. Well, now the character is jumping onto live action TV. According to The Hollywood Reporter WB is currently working with Reginald Hudlin on developing a Static Shock series:

Static Shock — Writer/producer/director Reginald Hudlin (Best Picture Oscar nominee for producing Django Unchained) leads the creative team behind a live-action adaptation of Static Shock, featuring the African-American super hero Static, aka Virgil Ovid Hawkins. Static Shock is based on the Static comic co-created by the late Dwayne McDuffie with co-writer Robert L. Washington III and artist John Paul Leon, which was originally published by the DC Comics imprint Milestone Comics and, later, by DC Comics. Milestone Media co-founder/comic book artist/TV producer Denys Cowan (the original Static Shock animated series) is collaborating with Hudlin on the new Static Shock

The real question is with all these teenage superhero show's being developed with Static Shock be set within the already announced Teen Titans TV universe?!

Today, Newsarama caught up with the president of The CW Mark Pedowitz to talk about the upcoming season of their two DC shows The Flash as well as Arrow. The President goes onto specifically tease that TNT's upcoming Titans may directly be connected to Arrow and The Flash. This would be a stroke of genius given Manu Bennett's Deathstroke is the main protagonist of the Titans for years as well as have Wally West eventually appear on Titans and also Colton Haynes Arsenal.

And while the president didn't mention Arrow showrunners Greg Berlanti other superhero show Supergirl the site goes onto claim that maybe a possibility as well since she will be given a new origin story.But her inclusion has yet to be confirmed in the Arrow-verse...

They do once again go onto say FOX's Gotham or NBC's Constatine won't be connected to the other shows and will be set within their own respective universes.

Earlier today Warner Brothers announced that a live-action Titans TV Series was headed to TNT. Now while this doesn't mean it will even be picked up by the network it has some longtime Teen Titans fans very happy. Currently A Beautiful Mind & Batman Forever scribe Akiva Goldsman is attached to pen the pilot as well as produce the entire show.

Well, some fans have taken to Twitter to ask if the showrunners Greg Weisman and Brandon Vietti of fan-favorite animated series Young Justice if they would ever consider helping out on the show. At least Greg is down; Brandon just favorited a few tweets about the new show never commenting on it specifically:

It was inevitable that both animated showrunners would be asked about the new series. And will be asked a million more times before the show debuts. But lets not forget Greg Weisman is hard at work giving us Star Wars: Rebels. But hey at least he is down if ever asked....

It was almost a year ago Bleeding Cool dropped a scoop that Warner Brothers was considering making a Young Justice TV Series at The CW. Now it seems their scoop seems to be half-debunked half-confirmed. WB is actually creating a live-action Teen Titans TV Series and have sold it to the network TNT but will simply be called Titans. Yes, it's weird they didn't send it to The CW which would be prime marketing for a superhero teen drama but at TNT the production value will be much higher. Deadline adds that Nightwing (Older Dick Grayson/Robin) will be the leader:

The upcoming Teen Titans Project is a live action web-series that follows the comic series Teen Titans by DC Comics. While they are ramping up to release their very first teaser trailer there is some cast interviews with some of your Titans!

Today Bleeding Cool broke the news that The CW is developing yet another DC Show this time based off the critically acclaimed TV Series Young Justice that debuted on Cartoon Network.

"the CW is developing another live action teen drama/romance series with a superhero twist, based on the Young Justice cartoon, games and comics, being prepped for 2015."

The site goes onto confirm that it will include Superboy (Hopefully the angry pissed off version) and Miss.Martian. The question is will this be a spin-off of the Arrow/Flash Universe. And if so could we see Manu Bennett's Deathstroke or Colton Haynes Red Arrow star in the show? But what does this mean for Robin is he off limits? Steven McQueen (The Vampire Diaries) has hinted the past few weeks about playing Nightwing....but Young Justice starts out with a young tech savy Robin.

Come back to SMN as this story develops...But all I want is the writers from the cartoon to at least be producers on this show. The writers were also behind such great animated series which include Star Wars: The Clone Wars and The Spectacular Spider-Man as well as Young Justice.

A few weeks ago Teen Titans project debuted a brand new behind-the-scenes clip from the set of Teen Titans Project the upcoming web series! They also confirmed that the first trailer should debuted in December sometime with Episode 1 hitting sometime in 2014. This also gives us the first glimpse at the Robin Armor:

Now, the second rumoured man for the role is one actor I feel is about to burst on to everyone’s radars. Last year a small romantic dramady came out starring Logan Lerman, Paul Rudd & Emma Watson. Anyone guess what film that was? It was The Perks Of Being A Wallflower; my source has revealed to me that Ezra Miller, who played Patrick, the gay best friend of Logan Lerman’s Charlie, is circling the role. Ezra Miller also appeared in the film, We Need To Talk About Kevin. Miller matches the rumoured ‘young John Hawkes type’ sidekick role Warner Bros’ were looking for, but does his young age limit his chances? 

Today we are proud to present the first photos from the upcoming fan web-series Teen Titans Project. This web-series has been in development for several years with a couple mini-shorts and actor interviews released. I'm guessing this will be along the lines of Uncanny X-Men web-series on YouTube.
