Another day, another Star Wars rumor. Today news broke that young actor Jack O'Connell is up for a lead role in Star Wars: Episode VII. According to Bleeding Cool sources O'Connell has already met with JJ Abrams and the it went extremely well.
They do point out they don't know if its the same role as Matt Smith (And to the unconfirmed extension Benedict Cumberbatch) but they are trying to figure that out. O'Connell was also up at one point for the lead in the Fantastic Four reboot as Reed Richards. If this report is true then cross his name off the shortlist.
