Today in Dave of Latino-Review's spoiler filled column he revealed that the deal between Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures seems to have gone through to allow Spider-Man to appear in Avengers: Infinity War Part I. He also goes onto reveal some massive spoilers on what is to become of Marvel's big three Captain America, Thor and Iron Man before the massive intergalactic battle with Thanos.
:: Massive Spoilers Ahead ::
According to their sources towards the end of Captain America: Civil War it seems Steve Rogers will indeed be killed off as seen in the climax of the Civil War comic story arc "Death of Captain America". It will be at the hands of Crossbones () and will be during the feud between Rogers and Tony Stark after Stark finds out it was Bucky who killed his planets as confirmed in Captain America: The Winter Solider. They go onto claim somehow Iron Man will end up in space but is extremely vague on this. Remember Tony Stark does join the Guardians of the Galaxy in the comics so this might be how the Guardians warn The Avengers about Thanos since remember...they have no idea he even exists yet. Lastly, in Thor: Ragnarok many Asgardians will die and this will lead to Thor (Chris Hemsworth) being sent to a "Galactic Prison" of sorts. Is this him finally being sent to Valhalla? And just like that the top three Marvel characters will be out of Avengers: Infinity War Part I.
Who will then defend earth from Thanos? Apparently the "New" Avengers may end up being lead by Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) himself along with Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman). Others on the team include Scarlet Witch & Quicksilver (Elizabeth Olsen & Aaron Taylor-Johnson), Ant-Man (Paul Rudd), The Wasp (Evangeline Lilly), Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Luke Cage (Mike Colter) Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) and Iron Fist (TBA). New additions also include Captain Marvel (TBA) and Spider-Man (TBA) will also play a large part as well. Lastly, they add the any of the Guardians of the Galaxy and Inhumans could also play a part in the battle. Let's just hope Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg) gets to shine in the films once again without being forced to add any of the other characters from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D into the movies.
None of the original Avengers from the first two phases will have a part in Infinity War Part I because they will return for Infinity War Part II.This will be Marvel's first test to see if these new characters can lead the company into future Phases without the main Avengers appearing.

Emily Blunt Hasn't Been Offered 'Captain Marvel'...Yet

Emily Blunt has been on Marvel Studios radar for some time. She was up for several roles in the past including Black Widow and the newly revealed Peggy Carter but the timing was just never right. But now after her smash action hit in Edge of Tomorrow many fans of pegged her to play Carol Danvers in Marvel's upcoming female superhero movie Captain Marvel but unfortunately she has yet to be officially offered the role. During her press tours for Into the Woods the actresses address the rumors:
"No one's offered me that officially, so it's... very unofficial. I think it's fan-casting, which is always very nice. But nothing official has been offered, for sure. If I get it, thank Meryl [Streep] for it!"Last we heard Captain Marvel could be making a surprise appearance in The Avengers: Age of Ultron in some type of post credit scene but that has yet to be confirmed. That rumor has been around since early this year.
Now you could make the argument Marvel was looking at Chadwick Boseman early last year before ever offering him the role of Black Panther this past October. But again we may be reading a little into her statement. It seems she is still very interested in being apart of the ever growing Marvel Cinematic Universe....

'Zero Dark Thirty' Star Jessica Chastain Has Met With Marvel...Again

Several years back it was revealed that up and coming actress Jessica Chastain was being eyed for the role of Black Widow in Iron Man 2 but it eventually went to Scarlet Johannson. Then she was once again being eyed for the role of Maya Hanson in Iron Man 3 but due to shielding conflict she could not appear in that Marvel film either. Well now while promoting her latest film Interstellar the actress reveals to MTV she has met with Marvel again for a future hero!
“We’ve talked about aligning our forces in the future. And here’s the thing with me… If you’re going to be in a superhero movie, you only get one chance. You’re that character forever. So why do a superhero movie and play the boring civilian? Whatever it is, I want a fight scene. I could be an incredible villain. I could be a hero. I want a cool outfit, and I want to kick ass. There was thing...I don’t want to say too much – but there was one thing, there was a possibility in the future of the character becoming… And I was like, ‘I understand that, but I want to do it now.’"Then MTV mentioned the lead-female role of Carol Danvers in the recently announced Captain Marvel movie which she replied:
"Yes I do know about that. Listen, that’s 2018. We don’t know where we’ll be, maybe I’ll give up acting by then.”Now while this is true the character has long been rumored to appear in The Avengers: Age of Ultron so she still could appear as Carol Danvers in that film before her own spin-off film....
:: Mini Update :: Apparently she was just speaking about her missed role in Iron Man 3...
Oops uh oh....I've never had talks about Captain Marvel. Was referring to a different film from over a year ago, in my recent MTV interview.

Jessica Chastain Wants To Play A Superhero!..Not the Girlfriend

Actress Jessica Chastain best known for The Help & Zero Dark Thirty has been up for several Marvel movies over the years. She was one of the final ladies in the running for Black Widow in Iron Man 2 (Which ended up going to Scarlett Johansson) then was up for Dr. Maya Hansen in Iron Man 3 (Which ended up going to Rebecca Hall) but had to turn it down because of scheduling conflicts. Well, she recently spoke with The Guardian about if she still wants to be in a superhero type movie "[I] would love to do a superhero movie! I would have loved to have played Black Widow." She then goes onto to clarify that she doesn't want to just be the girlfriend but an actual hero "The problem is, if I do a superhero movie, I don't want to be the girlfriend. I don't want to be the daughter. I want to wear a fucking cool costume with a scar on my face, with fight scenes. That’s what I'd love." With Marvel actively pursing her in the past it's completely logical they may want her for the long rumored Ms. Marvel role that's in The Avengers: Age of Ultron. That's about as mighty as it gets in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for female heroes!
The thing is Marvel has yet to even confirm Ms.Marvel has a cameo in Age of Ultron. With filming completed it's hard to say if the characters cameo was cut from the final draft of the script. The Ms. Marvel in Age of Ultron rumor has been around almost as long as Aquaman in Batman v Superman.

Kevin Feige Once Again Says 'Black Panther' AND 'Ms. Marvel' Are In-Development!

Today, IGN caught up with the head-honcho of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige to talk once again about Marvel films! Shocker. The President reveals that he gets asked more about Black Panther and Ms.Marvel/Captain Marvel then Iron Man 4 or The Avengers 3 in terms of being developed. He does admit that they both are in development.
Last we heard on Black Panther was that Chadwick Boseman (42, Get On Up) was being sought after to play the King of Wakanda. While on the flip side Ms.Marvel is expected to make some type of cameo in The Avengers: Age of Ultron.
rumor I've been hearing is that before Nicole Perlman exited the Marvel screenwriters program, she may have written a draft for CAP MARVEL
— Christopher Marc (@_ChristopherM) August 19, 2014but.. it's unknown if it was a full script or just an outline.. also just rumblings
— Christopher Marc (@_ChristopherM) August 19, 2014it's now extremely possible that BLACK PANTHER could hit May 2017 and CAPTAIN MARVEL sometime in 2018.. get stoked folks!

Katee Sackhoff Teases Super Secret Superhero Gig

Late last year Riddick and Battlestar Galactica star Katee Sackhoff revealed that she would love to be apart of a superhero movie someday. Even going onto specifically state that she would love to be Harley Quinn or Ms. Marvel. This started a wave of rumors that she might be in The Avengers: Age of Ultron because according to rumor that character is in the script for the movie but has yet to be announced. Well now Sackhoff has taken to twitter to hint at some secret superhero gig that involves a red suit that she is apart of!
First she said on July 29th she was meeting with Stan Lee:
I'm wearing red leather to my meeting with @TheRealStanLee today, sorta just seemed appropriate.

A Fourth Female Lead Has Yet To Be Announced for 'The Avengers: Age of Ultron'

HeyUGuys caught up with The Avengers: Age of Ultron director Joss Whedon at the red carpet of Guardians of the Galaxy. The director reveals that a fourth female lead is in the film but has yet to be announced! With Black Widow, Maria Hill and Scarlet Witch announced...who could be the fourth?:
Hayley Atwell has since confirmed she will be returning as Peggy Carter in a cameo but Joss Whedon said prominent so it's not her. Ms.Marvel is a very strong candidate according to the rumors. Many names have been thrown out there on who could play Carol Danvers (If that's the version they end up using). Such names like Riddick star Katee Sackhoff but another name has also been a fan favorite for a very long time. This includes long time Chuck star Yvonne Strahovski. After her time as an action star on 24: Live Another Day it's hard to pass her up as a great Ms.Marvel.

Did Scarlet Johansson Let Slip More Female Marvel Characters Are Coming to 'The Avengers 2'!?
During the British press junkets for Captain America: The Winter Soldier The Showbiz sat down with the stars Chris Evans and Scarlet Johansson. During the interview they switched to talk about and even joke about how more females need to be in action films. Then randomly Scarlet Johansson finally said that more female characters are coming to The Avengers: Age of Ultron!
"One thing I got from all of them is that there is space. They want, they are excited to see females represented in these movies. So I think Marvel has heard that note and you'll see some pretty strong female characters in Avengers 2"Is she referring to that pesky Ms.Marvel/Captain Marvel rumor we have been hearing about since last year?! Only time will tell..
Thanks to @Marvel_Freshman of CBM for the heads up!

Kevin Feige Says a 'Ms.Marvel' Movie is Being Talked About Alot
While speaking with Badass Digest Marvel head Kevin Feige admits that if they were ever gonna do a female lead film, they want to do an origin story from a hero we haven't seen just yet:
Kevin Feige: I like the idea if we’re going to do a [female lead] do a new one. Do a wholly new character, do an origin story.Devin Faraci of Badass Digest suggest Ms/Captain Marvel
"We’ve talked a lot about [Captain Marvel]. I think that would be very cool."With the recent Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D suggesting that Ultimate Geheneris Hala´son Mahr Vehl is currently on earth. It's only a matter of time until they suggest Carol Danvers as well. Also last year we heard that actress Katee Sackhoff is really interested in portraying Ms.Marvel!
Lastly, Devin Faraci added:
My sources tell me that we will see an iteration of Captain Marvel onscreen by 2016 - either at the end of Phase Two or the beginning of Phase Three - in another Marvel movie.

Kevin Feige Now Teases 'Dr. Strange' Movie and Female Superheros!
Yesterday during the Thor: The Dark World junket many asked Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige about the future installments in the Avengers storyline. Earlier this year if some of you might not remember Marvel announced 2 (well 3) upcoming untitled movies for 2016 and 2017. One of the most rumored possibles is Dr. Strange along with Black Panther. Now Feige teases the Doc a little bit more to Movies.com:
"Doc Strange, as I've been saying for years, is a movie I believe we should make -- we're just figuring out how to make it a great movie. It is in active development right now. Whether that's one of the movies we announce for 2016 or 2017, we have to see. I think it'll be the middle of next year before we announce officially what the post Ant-Man films will be.
He was asked if that ment at San Diego Comic-Con 2014:
"Maybe... stuff might happen before that. It's too early to tell."Movies also decided to straight up ask Marvel if they would consider a female lead superhero movie like rumored earlier this year with Ms.Marvel possibly starring Katee Sackhoff:
"Good question. I don't know what they're doing or what they're planning,' Feige said. "I know we have numerous exciting female heroes, whether none of them are currently slated, some of them are in development -- frankly, you can look at what Jane Foster does in [Thor: The Dark World], look at Pepper Potts literally saving the day and defeating the bad guy in Iron Man 3, and I'd say we already have great female heroes that are showcased and play major roles in our universe now. Captain America: The Winter Soldier, as you will see, features Black Widow in her biggest role yet in any of our films. In terms of a solo standalone female hero, I'm not sure when that will be. We make two movies a year, we've planned through 2015 and we have some ideas of what we're doing in 2016 and 2017, so we'll see what happens."
