Massive Spoilers Leak On What Happens To Captain America, Thor and Iron Man Before 'Infinity War'

Today in Dave of Latino-Review's spoiler filled column he revealed that the deal between Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures seems to have gone through to allow Spider-Man to appear in Avengers: Infinity War Part I. He also goes onto reveal some massive spoilers on what is to become of Marvel's big three Captain America, Thor and Iron Man before the massive intergalactic battle with Thanos.

    :: Massive Spoilers Ahead ::

According to their sources towards the end of Captain America: Civil War it seems Steve Rogers will indeed be killed off as seen in the climax of the Civil War comic story arc "Death of Captain America". It will be at the hands of Crossbones () and will be during the feud between Rogers and Tony Stark after Stark finds out it was Bucky who killed his planets as confirmed in Captain America: The Winter Solider. They go onto claim somehow Iron Man will end up in space but is extremely vague on this. Remember Tony Stark does join the Guardians of the Galaxy in the comics so this might be how the Guardians warn The Avengers about Thanos since remember...they have no idea he even exists yet. Lastly, in Thor: Ragnarok many Asgardians will die and this will lead to Thor (Chris Hemsworth) being sent to a "Galactic Prison" of sorts. Is this him finally being sent to Valhalla? And just like that the top three Marvel characters will be out of Avengers: Infinity War Part I.

Who will then defend earth from Thanos? Apparently the "New" Avengers may end up being lead by Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) himself along with Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman). Others on the team include Scarlet Witch & Quicksilver (Elizabeth Olsen & Aaron Taylor-Johnson), Ant-Man (Paul Rudd), The Wasp (Evangeline Lilly), Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Luke Cage (Mike Colter) Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) and Iron Fist (TBA). New additions also include Captain Marvel (TBA) and Spider-Man (TBA) will also play a large part as well. Lastly, they add the any of the Guardians of the Galaxy and Inhumans could also play a part in the battle. Let's just hope Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg) gets to shine in the films once again without being forced to add any of the other characters from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D into the movies.

None of the original Avengers from the first two phases will have a part in Infinity War Part I because they will return for Infinity War Part II.This will be Marvel's first test to see if these new characters can lead the company into future Phases without the main Avengers appearing.

Vin Diesel Teases His 'Inhuman' Role Once Again

Vin Diesel might be known as the all lovable Groot in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy but there seems to be one other Marvel role he is aching to play. In a recent Facebook post the Fast & Furious star posted a pic with the words "Are You Inhuman?" but was quickly taken down most likely at the request of Marvel. The role many assume he might play is the lead in Marvels upcoming and long in development Inhumans feature film as the king Black Bolt. Black Bolt has the power to destroy cities by simply speaking so he is mute most of the time. Which would be a perfect role Vin Diesel could play since technically he only voiced Groot in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

It should also be noted the Inhumans is a large plot line in Marvels currently running TV Show Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D where it is revealed that Skye is part Inhuman.

Marvel's 'Inhumans' Will Debut Finally in 2018

To round out one of the final movie announcements during Marvels Media Day they finally announced the long rumored Inhumans movie! The movie is slated to for November 2nd, 2018. This will finally give a race of heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since mutants are off limits. Not much is known on the Inhumans but that it is a team based film surrounded by the Inhumans royal family including Black Bolt and Medusa.

There have been rumors that Vin Diesel may take on the role of Black Bolt but that has yet to be announced....

RUMOR: 'The Inhumans' Movie Finally On The Way?!

Beside several rumors over the years that Marvel wants to delve into more cosmic stories The Inhumans always some how went hand-in-hand with those rumors. Well, now according to Collider they have inside information that one of the untitled Marvel films yet to be announced is indeed Black Bolt, Medusa and The Inhumans. Written by scribe Joe Robert Cole. Of course which ever filmmaker they get to helm the project will most likely rewrite the script much like how James Gunn rewrote Guardians of the Galaxy. But unlike Guardians of the Galaxy The Inhumans are a very serious comic about alien royalty. And will most likely take elements from Game of Thrones in that sense of everyone after the royal throne. Of course also The Inhumans are a special species of humans (Tested on long ago by the Kree) who could potentially take the place of Mutants in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Vin Diesel (Guardians of the Galaxy, Fast & Furious) has long rumored and even hinted at the role of Black Bolt himself. Black Bolt of course never speaks because it produces shock-waves that can destroy an entire city or planet. But again no casting has been set...
Again, we will treat this as a rumor until Marvel officially releases titles for the untitled dates that's already been previously announced.

Did Vin Diesel Once Again Hint At 'The Inhumans' ?!

Vin Diesel has always been one to mess with his fans via social media outlets like his Facebook. That's he got the gig with Marvel voicing Groot in the recently released Guardians of the Galaxy. Late last year before San Diego Comic-Con Diesel teased several meeting he had with Marvel about playing a future role. This comes after months of hints like the Vision picture he posted on his wall. Well, he did end up getting a role with Marvel as Groot. But some have speculated that doesn't necessarily mean the actor is off limits for an future live action roles as some of speculated. He has long been a fan favorite to actually play Black Bolt the king of The Inhumans (Since teased in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D) Which this character ironically rarely speaks while his Groot character only says three words "I am Groot".

Vin Diesel his way to smart to post this without their being some type of buzz surrounding it. Sounds a lot like Dwayne Johnson teasing Shazam/Black Adam several weeks ago.Now I also like to point out Diesel before being announced as Groot posted other status hinting at Vision which never actually happened and is being played by Paul Bettany in The Avengers: Age of Ultron. But with Marvel having 5 untitled films coming down the line and The Inhumans being rumored as far back as 2010 maybe just maybe Diesel might actually end up...inhuman.

Zac Efron Being Considered For a Secret 'Marvel Studios' Role

Today, the guys over at Latino-Review dropped a brand new rumor. According to their sources The Awkward Moment and Neighbors star Zac Efron is on Marvel's radar for a "secret unspecified role in a future project". They do go onto mention that Zac Efron has received a script on said project.

With only so many "announced" projects in development it leaves the list actually pretty small like the Dr. Strange movie. Given he is pretty young to be the Sorcerer Supreme That seems very unlikely. Another project that's in active development is the upcoming Netflix series Daredevil which starts shooting this summer which means casting needs to happen in the next two months! So Daredevil is the most logical choice...

While others suggested it maybe for Iron Fist but since that show has yet to announce any writers its hard to imagine them already having a full script....Other rumored movies are Inhumans or Guardians of the Galaxy 2 which he could play Black Bolt or Nova but again they aren't even announced yet.

Again they are just looking at Zac Efron this is in no way a confirmation. Funny, just yesterday fans suggested him for the role of a young Scott Summers in the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse but it seems Marvel Studios got to him before FOX.

Zac Efron was last rumored for a role in Star Wars but has since been passed on....

EDITORIAL: Is Phil Coulson the Marvel Cinematic Universe Version of Captain Mar-Vell?

For those who have stuck around for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D left us last night with more questions than answers. But in a really good way. The show had guest star Bill Paxton which was also a pleasant surprise.

Leaving off where the last episode left off was Skye being on life support and only having a few days left to live. So Coulson in a last attempt to save her traces his own resurrection story back to a secret underground laboratory that holds this miracle serum GH-325. During the reveal of where the drug is leads Coulson back to T.A.H.I.T.I...

In this secret room has the biggest reveal of the entire series which shows a blue humanoid like alien being experimented on and being used to create the GH-325 serum.

That left us wondering.....what was the alien!? Some rumors are swirling around the internet on the possibility's. Some think that it was an Atlantean connected directly to Namor. Because if some of you remember Atlantis is seemingly shown on the Iron Man 2 S.H.I.E.L.D screen....

Now we may have another possibility which is completely based on speculation. Back last June in an interview with Digital Spy actor Clark Gregg (Agent Coulson) reveals that he actually would love to play Captain Marvel..cause she's so hot:
I can’t say this because these guys are like, giant muscular superheroes, but if I had a magical transformation, I wouldn’t mind being Captain Marvel. Although, there’s a new Captain Marvel in the comics who’s a lady alien, and she’s hot. I would be a lady alien Captain Marvel.

Of course this was a joke to the Carol Danvers character of Captain Marvel that gains her powers through Mar-Vell. Now who is Mar-Vell exactly? Well he is a Kree solider sent from the Kree empire as a sleeper cell on earth.  He assumes the identity Dr. Philp Lawson under S.H.I.E.L.D. Instead of giving the Kree empire information about earths greatest weaknesses he learns of the heroes of earth and eventually becomes one of earth's mightiest heroes. Lastly, his full Kree name is actually Geheneris HalaSon Mahr Vehl (Ultimate Version)...which brings us back to the GH Alien.

The Kree empire is also known for having blue skin. They also will be officially introduced in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. The main villain of the film Ronan the Accuser (Lee Pace) is a leader of the Kree but also under the control of Thanos. This would bring us full circle...

Which brings us back to the blue alien. If he is a indeed a Kree alien this maybe setting up for Phil Coulson to become Captain Mar-Vell. Obviously his origin will be changed to fit into the current Marvel Cinematic Universe timeline. Also, one thing that Simmons mentions also is that they used some type of brain neuro machine to implement that Tahiti memory's into Coulsons brain. Is it possible they also implemented memory's from this Kree solider without Coulson knowing? That would explain why when Agent John Garret (Bill Paxton) saw Coulson after the blue alien reveal he makes the remark "You look like you've just seen a ghost"  It maybe connected to Coulson seeing "himself" in the blue alien...

This all points to an almost obvious idea that Agent Phil Coulson has been injected with Kree blood and maybe even memorys. The question is what will this mean in the means of powers? Will Coulson develop his own gifts? Also, what does this mean for Skye who was also injected and survived?! Coulson may not even devlop powers the SAME exact way Mar-Vell did given the origin change.

This also officially would make Skye and Agent Coulson an Inhuman.  A special species of human who's bloodline is the hybrid of Kree and Human genes.

No 'Guardians of the Galaxy 2' Afterall? 'Dr. Strange' to Spear Head Phase 3!

Last week Joblo dropped an exclusive that Marvel was fast tracking Guardians of the Galaxy sequel on literally the same exact day as DC's Batman vs Superman hits in 2016. This was very odd considering how obscure the Guardians are to the general public.

Now Schmoes Know has dropped their own exclsuive stating that Guardians of the Galaxy sequel was never going to happen. The film is suppose to be a one and done. According to their source Victor Jones:
I can confirm that as of the end of January, Marvel had no plans to make a Guardians 2. Marvel was planning on Guardians being a one and done. So unless they have done a complete 180 in the last couple weeks, I very much doubt there will be a Guardians 2.
    He goes onto say:
They only have so many films they can do each year and they don’t want them all to be trilogies to where they’re just dealing with the same handful of characters for the next 5-10 years.

He then goes onto "confrim" the films that WILL be in Phase III. Again, we are treating this as a rumor until official word comes from Marvel.  But he goes onto say:
The movies that will be part of Phase III for absolute certain are: Ant-Man, Captain America 3, Thor 3, The Avengers 3 and Dr. Strange.

Surprised? No not really. We at SMN have heard multiple times that Doctor Strange is Kevin Feiges pet project for a very long time.  He can possibly be the new Tony Stark of the Marvel universe once Robert Downey Jr. leaves after his contract ends. Victor Jones adds:
Feige has pretty much confirmed Dr. Strange for some time now. They really wanted it to be a part of Phase 2 at one point, but like Ant-Man that just didn’t happen. That’s probably the one that Feige is personally rooting for the most and as a result it is the solo film that is the highest priority other than the sequels.

What about fan favorites Black Panther and Inhumans? Well, they as well will eventually happen just a matter of when:
There has been talk about Black Panther and lots of talk about The Inhumans, they’re in the pipeline but are pretty much in the same boat that Dr. Strange and Ant-Man were in two years ago, where they want them to happen, and they will most likely both happen, but it’s just a question of how soon. However, those five films (Ant-Man, Cap 3, Thor 3, Dr. Strange & Avengers 3) are sure things and I can guarantee you they will all be announced at Comic Con if not sooner.
     And the waiting game begins.....

Guardians of the Galaxy hits this August!
