'Captain Marvel' Soars Into Theaters in 2018

Marvel just revealed an entire slated of films for their Phase 3 line-up including another female lead-superhero film in Captain Marvel! It was revealed that Captain Marvel will soar into theaters near you July 6th, 2018.

Now if you are wondering what she will be called in the film Captain Marvel or Ms. Marvel the head huncho of Marvel goes onto confirm that she will simply be Carol Danvers (Much like Black Widow is simply Natasha)

“This Captain Marvel’s name is Carol Danvers. This film has been in the works almost as long as Doctor Strange or Guardians of the Galaxy before it came out, and one of the key things was figuring out what we wanted to do with it. Her adventures are very earthbound, but her powers are based in the cosmic realm.”
