Warner Brothers Has a 'Looney Tunes' Reboot Script Ready To Go

Warner Brothers currently has a reboot script for the classic Looney Tunes characters. The script was written by Obvious Child screenwriter Jenny Slate. The writer goes onto tell Yahoo! Movies that she doesn't think the studio will ever move forward on her screenplay
“It was very, very fun to write it, but in the end, I don’t think I was able to be as formulaic and mainstream as that movie needs. It really needs that. It’s a very old, very important franchise, and if it’s going to be done, I think it really has to be a more mainstream thing. And I don’t know that I’m really interested in being that voice.”
It's interesting to know how bad her script must be if the studio isn't moving forward with one of their oldest franchises. This comes off even after the success of reboot franchises like The Muppets and the upcoming Peanuts reboot.
