This years smash hit The Lego Movie was nothing without Will Arnett's sarcastic Batman character. Well, WB loved the response to his character so much they have decided to fast track a spin-off movie featuring the character. It will be directed by Lego Movie animation supervisor Chis McKay with a script by Seth Grahame-Smith. Will Arnett is expected to return as The Caped Crusader with Chris Miller & Philip Lord (22 Jump Street, The Lego Movie) producing this spin-off.
This won't be the first spin-off in this "Lego Cinematic Universe" because a Ninjago spin-off is already slated for 2016. The Lego Movie sequel is expected to come out in after 2017's Lego Batman.
The real question is will we see Channing Tatum, Jonah Hill or Cobie Smulders return to lend their voices for Superman, Green Lantern or Wonder Woman respectively.
