Earlier this month, we posted an article featuring nominees from what we believed to be some of the best comic book movies of 2013, with awards ranging from Best Actor all the way to Best Visual Effects, we have all the awards under control. 2013 was rather interesting, we had some major disappointments and we had some amazing surprises, but now, we give you the winners for 2013's SuperheroMovieNews Award show. You won't find movies like World War Z or Pacific Rim in these awards, cause they are not, Superhero Movies. Our Twitter account received your votes, and with the help of our readers, we were able to come up with an award show that you, the fans, should love! So without further ado, we give you the winners for 2013!

You thought the first Thor was a… bore? Well guess what! This one isn’t. God that was a dreadful way to open a review, if I have lost your attention, please let your attention come back to me, I promise I won’t put it to waste ever again. Thor: The Dark World marks Marvel’s second film release of 2013, and frankly it’s their best. While I adored Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World really snips the crown for best comic book movie of 2013. Now, I’m Australian, so this review may be a little bias towards Chris Hemsworth, it’s not my fault he’s just so darn dreamy. So without further ado, let’s get insideThor and his dark world… Oh my word, that was bad.

What a wild ride it has been for Thor's Jaimie Alexander. A few months ago I started watching a little show called, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, and I was shocked, let me repeat, shocked, when I saw Alexander make a brief guest appearance in season 3. From her guest role in that show, to being a main attraction to the upcoming Thor: The Dark World, Jaimie's career has finally taken off, and she's not done yet. According to Forbes comic book blogger, Mark Hughes (not the former Manchester City manager, cause he'd probably ruin Forbes aswell.) he chatted with Jamie at Stan Lee's Comikaze Convention this past Friday. Hughes posted on his Twitter account, quote; "Jaimie Alexander has been having "conversations" w/ WB/DC. She also knows things a/b BATMAN VS SUPERMAN's story. Do the math..." While this could mean nothing, it doesn't seem like nothing. Alexander has been a fan favourite for the role of Diana Prince/Wonder Woman for quite some time now, and with Angelina Jolie not getting any younger, it seems we may have to settle for Jaimie... Like that's a bad thing. How would you guys and gals feel about Jaimie Alexander taking on the covered role of Wonder Woman? Alexander also confirmed a Thor 3 is on it's way, but on the Wonder Woman rumour. Let me just say... Bring it.

Lots of Kevin Feige interviews are popping up today from the Thor: The Dark World press junkets. Marvel Studios CEO has teased from Daredevil & Punisher to Dr. Strange and now The Infinity Gauntlet and The Avengers 3! via Screenrant

"Well, I don’t know that I would spell it out that clearly, necessarily,But certainly fans of the comics could surmise that all of this is leading somewhere. That Joss’ decision to have Thanos turn around and smile for the audience at the end of ‘Avengers’, our reveal, was always the plan.…And where it goes from there, we’ll see… But yes, the MacGuffin of ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ certainly plays into MacGuffins of the past."

Also! FilmINK has some new information on the Mid-Credit scene found in Thor: The Dark World which points to Guardians of the Galaxy co-star Benicio del Toro as The Collector! This would also confirm Guard the Galaxy's scoop from several months ago. A description of both the Mid-Credit and Post-Credit scene should be revealed around 9pm on the 25th when the press embargo is lifted.

This month Thor star Natalie Portman became the cover story of Marie Claire Magazine. Amongst various reports early last year that Portman was reluctant to return to the marvel franchise but was forced due to her contract she finally answers those rumors:

"No, Chris is, like, one of the greatest people in Hollywood. He's the kind of actor who's so charismatic, he must be tired when he goes home."
