An audio clip for Marvels upcoming One-Shot 'All Hail The King' was featured exclusively on Sirus XM radio last night. They have now uploaded it to soundcloud. It also includes a interview with Trevor himself Sir Ben Kingsley and director/writer Drew Pearce:

Today we got confirmation that Thor: The Dark World DVD will indeed have yet another Marvel One Shot titled 'All Hail The King'. It was confirmed to follow the events of Iron Man 3 and follow Trevor Slattery (Sir Ben Kingsley) as he is sentenced to Seagate Prison. Now why is this important? Well Seagate Prison happens to be the same exact prison Luke Cage is sentenced to as a criminal before being experimented on and becoming Power Man!

Now with Netflix moving forward with Marvel Street universe does this confirm that Marvel Street will also be connected to the Marvel Cinematic Universe? It just might but seriously we knew it would. Will we see the actor playing Luke Cage in the Netflix series cameo in this Short Film? Doubtful but at least we know that Seagate Prison is now officially planted in the MCU just like Roxxon Oil Company is from past Marvel One Shots.

      Entertainment Weekly has reveal four new stills and interview with writer Drew Pearce from the upcoming one shot "All Hail The King" showing the return of Trevor Slattery. The short film gives us a look into the life of Trevor in prison which is not going so well for him due to his false identity.

“Imagine a real terrorist organization whose beliefs were long held and religious for thousands of years, and imagine a drunk, British actor coming along and essentially telling the world that he’s the face of your organization,” says Drew Pearce. “I think they would be right to be quite angry.”“I had spoken to Sir Ben a lot on set because Trevor was a tricky character that everyone was involved with right from the beginning. And it was always a huge risk. I was so grateful to him when he pulled it off after a year of truly worrying about whether we could land that turn. So, 'The Further Adventures of Trevor' was something we had talked about on set all the time, and when we sat down to talk about what the short would be, it was Stephen [Broussard, executive producer of Iron Man 3] and Kevin [Feige, Marvel Studios president] and myself and Joss Whedon and Jeremy Latcham [executive producer of The Avengers.] So we kicked around a bunch of ideas and there were loads of them that we liked, and it was actually Joss who at a certain point went like, “Or you could do the one that has Sir Ben Kingsley in it because you have access to Sir Ben Kingsley.”Oh, it couldn’t possibly. [Laughs.] I think short movies in general, whether they’re Marvel ones or not, you kind of want them to feel like they’re opening you up to a bigger world. Yeah, I definitely think there are – the non-spoiler way for me to say it — by the end of the short, there are definitely a lot of exciting other places that are brought up in it that could then go in the Marvel universe. You know, whether that’s an Iron Man movie or another one going into Phase Two or Three.

Some new details on the special features that will appear on Marvels Thor: The Dark World DVD & Blue-Ray have emerged. They list a brand new Marvel: One-Shot titled All Hail the King is this the suppose 3rd Mandarin One-Shot Latino-Review reported on several months ago?! Also is a 3 Minute sneak peek at Captain America: The Winter Solider! Which is most likley the 3-Min trailer from the IMAX Screenings of Thor: The Dark World:

Earlier this month, we posted an article featuring nominees from what we believed to be some of the best comic book movies of 2013, with awards ranging from Best Actor all the way to Best Visual Effects, we have all the awards under control. 2013 was rather interesting, we had some major disappointments and we had some amazing surprises, but now, we give you the winners for 2013's SuperheroMovieNews Award show. You won't find movies like World War Z or Pacific Rim in these awards, cause they are not, Superhero Movies. Our Twitter account received your votes, and with the help of our readers, we were able to come up with an award show that you, the fans, should love! So without further ado, we give you the winners for 2013!

Ben Kingsley as the Mandarin has to be named as the biggest WTF moment of the year. By now everyone has seen the big shocker of The Mandarin which some hated and some thought was a great idea. But what was going through the mind of the writer of the film, Drew Pearce.

It's interesting: When you're doing a massive movie like this, on a technical level, the really hard scene to write is always at the end of act two. It's the tesseract of all these agendas and plotlines, and that gets even trickier on a Marvel movie because you're often rewriting on set as you go, so it's like a weird cross between Cassavetes and a Rubik's cube. And narration is always hard, too — I literally wrote and rewrote the narration for this movie 2,000 times over the course of two and a half years. But overall, as tricky as those things both were on a prosaic level, I think the Mandarin reveal scene was the most difficult one to write, conceptually.

For the Mandarin, I'd been kicking around lots of ideas about false faces and terrorist pop stars and I was really worried about telling Marvel — I thought we'd get strung up — but Shane said, "Fuck 'em, this idea is kind of indelible. We should run towards it." And to both of our surprise, when we pitched it to Kevin Feige, who's the president of Marvel Studios, he took it in and said, "I love it." He'd been trying to crack the Mandarin concept since the first Iron Man. The Mandarin was actually in the first Iron Man up until six weeks before they shot it!
