DIVERGENT Star Miles Teller Talks 'Mr Fantastic' & FANTASTIC FOUR

Earlier this month, it was revealed that 21 & Over star, Miles Teller, would be portraying the
iconic character of Reed Richards/Mr Fantastic, in Fox's Fantastic Four reboot. Teller (27), who starred in this year's That Awkward Moment (My review here) and last year's crowd-pleaser, The Spectacular Now, sat down with IGN to discuss his upcoming film, Divergent. Unlike most actors who are cast as superheroes, Teller did not lie when asked if he grew up a comic book reader, Teller said "Well, for me I didn't grow up really as a comic book kid necessarily. Fantastic Four is my dad's favorite superhero comic." Usually when an actor is cast as a certain superhero, the actor would say how much they enjoyed the comic book growing up, and it's nice to see some honesty now and then. Teller followed up his comments by saying, "I think Josh Trank is a very creative, inventive guy. You look at Chronicle, you look at what he did for that budget and just how he told the story was really well done. I want to chase directors at this point, and then the cast kind of came together -- Michael B. (Jordan), Kate Mara, and Jamie Bell -- I was very excited." This is also the second confirmation of Jamie Bell as The Thing, Bell and Teller were only rumoured previously, but we can now confirm (although it had been thought for a while) that Bell is in fact Ben Grimm.
Miles Teller also discussed the tone of the film saying, "I was joking around about a year ago, 'I guess I'll be playing a superhero soon' because that's just the world that we're in, but I think a lot of times it just looks like Hollywood actors in Halloween costumes, you know? And I think what we're going to do with Fantastic Four is going to be very grounded and it made sense to me." Miles Teller Has A FANTASTIC Birthday [Photos]
One of Hollywood's best rising stars, Miles Teller was recently announced to play Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic in Fox's 2015 reboot of The Fantastic Four. The Spectacular Now star actor turned 27 a few days ago, and celebrated in quite some style. Fellow actors, Anna Kendrick and Theo James were present at Teller's party, and gave him a pretty awesome cake. The cake resembles Reed Richards and the Fantastic Four all but confirming Teller's role in the new film. Miles Teller recently was cast as Dan Akroyd in the upcoming John Belushi biopic and is set to start shooting The Fantastic Four this spring.

Michael B. Jordan Responds To FANTASTIC FOUR Haters "They'll Still Go See It Anyway."
Is there such thing as a day where we receive no news regarding Fox's Fantastic Four reboot? I'll answer that simply... No. Earlier today, TMZ filmed a very brief video where they asked That Awkward Moment star, Michael B. Jordan, who will appear in 2015's The Fantastic Four as Johnny Storm/The Human Torch, how he felt about the internet's backlash against his casting. Jordan simply said, "Ah it's alright, at the end of the day, they'll still be the ones in the seats." While Jordan's comments are pretty funny, what's funny is how true his comments actually are. For examples of this, please seek out the internet's reaction to Heath Ledger being cast as The Joker and Christian Bale being cast as Batman. You can check out TMZ's video below.

Roby Reviews: THAT AWKWARD MOMENT Starring 50% Of THE FANTASTIC FOUR
Conventional romantic comedies are possibly some of the worst things you could ever wish to see. But very rarely does a conventional romantic comedy, boast broad and some-what realistic characters. Ironically, the film, That Awkward Moment is actually pretty cool.
Starring Michael B. Jordan, Zac Efron and Miles Teller, this romantic comedy is no great, new addition to the rather long list of romantic comedies, but where this film succeeds is where other films in this genre often fail. First let's talk about the characters, whilst I was watching the film, I found myself connecting more and more with Miles Teller's character, he's the guy who's always had a friend who was a girl, but wasn't anything more than a friend. He was funny and witty, much like myself. I hope that does not sound as biased as I think it did, anyway, Michael B. Jordan's character is a college grad who was married way too young and Zac Efron plays... Zac Efron. While the characters are not new additions to the genre, the chemistry between the three was undeniable, with The Fantastic Four co-stars Miles Teller and Michael B. Jordan really standing out. In fact, if you're one of the guys or gals who is not sure if Fox made the right move casting these two, go watch this and check out their chemistry, it's pretty great.
This film is no (500) Days Of Summer, but it is a lot better than it really should have been, I often found myself finding the jokes to be pretty hard hitting and I found myself laughing more than my date, especially at the viagra scene, that was pretty funny. Isn't being an adolescent fun? But in all seriousness, the dialogue in this film was pretty great. As a guy in his late teens and having many guy friends, this film really nailed how guys talk when girls are not around, we talk like animals, and the writers of this film really understood that, and in turn, I think that made for a much more realistic film.
While it may be your usual run of the mill, romantic comedy, That Awkward Moment is far better than it really should be. If you're a guy looking for a film to take a date to, why not this one? It's funny, it's some-what realistic, and it's ultimately a realistic take on how guys interact with each other.
