'Heroes: Reborn' Will Be Brand New Character's

Today, Entertainment Weekly spoke with Heroes showrunner Tim Kring about the upcoming series. He goes onto reveal the new mini-series will deal with a slew of new characters in the Heroes universe. This comes off many original cast members stating they won't be returning for the new show:
“The vast, vast majority are brand new characters, brand new ideas, [Bringing back previous characters is] really only to give a sense of continuity and a tether to the original world. If it was all completely brand new, we’d miss certain elements that need to be there to give you that bridge to cross to something new. I approached Coleman because he was a character who had a spine through the series that allowed you to meet new characters. So he’s a character I wanted to make sure had a little part at the beginning of this thing.”I guess Noah Bennett (Jack Coleman) really is like the Agent Coulson of the Heroes universe after-all!

Live Updates from NBC at TCA: Heroes Reborn

NBC exec Bob Greenblatt spoke with reporters this morning about the possible premiere date for HEROES REBORN.
Via Kate Aurthur and BuzzFeed, we’ve learned that it may be a while before Heroes returns to the small screen.

— Kate Aurthur (@KateAurthur) July 13, 2014In other related HEROES REBORN casting news, Zachary Quinto, AKA Heroes’ original baddie Gabriel ‘Sylar’ Gray, spoke to TCA Press on Friday about possibly returning to the series that jumpstarted his career.
"I've been in touch with Tim [Kring, creator] and he told me they were doing this and we left the door open for me to be involved, the trouble is really my availability," Quinto said. "I don't know that it would really even be possible. And it's a challenge for me because that experience and role and opportunity really changed my life completely and sent me on a path that I might not have otherwise have been on, but at the same time I'm very interested in forward momentum, I'm very interested in expanding and defying people's expectations of me."
"I don't know that going back to such a definitely iconic character would necessarily do that," Quinto continued. "So it's a larger question that I haven't had to answer because no one's actually given me an offer. We'll see. I'm glad they're doing it and I know that whether or not I'm involved that the fans will enjoy it."
I do hope his eyebrows he returns!

Ali Larter Won't Be Returning For 'Heroes: Reborn'

Today, TV Guide caught up with actress Ali Larter to talk about her new TNT series Legends but the conversation quickly switched to the upcoming Heroes: Reborn series as the villain Nikki/Jessica. When asked if she wold be returning she answered blankly:
"No. I'm committed to [TNT's] Legends. I'm on series, so I don't have the time to work on another project. Not that I didn't love Heroes and loved working on it, but I'm just at a different stage of my life. I'm super excited and proud to be a part of this show and working with Sean Bean and an incredible cast."Last we heard that Milo Ventimiglia won't be returning either as Peter Petrelli but it was confirmed that Jack Coleman would be returning to the series as "The Man with the Horn-Rimmed Glasses"

Milo Ventimiglia Campaigning to play 'The Punisher'; Won't Return for 'Heroes: Reborn'

Milo Ventimiglia is no stranger to comic book tv series being a long time star on NBC's Heroes. Well yesterday Captain America: The Winter Soldier badass Frank Grillo (Crossbones) posted on Twitter how actors need to forget being rockstars and be in a Marvel movie cause the fans are so great in which Milo Ventimiglia replied:
Sound like a plan @FrankGrillo @WizardWorld. MV

Jack Coleman Re-Joins 'Heroes: Reborn'

The Agent Phil Coulson before Agent Coulson ever existed in NBC's Heroes is returning to the spin-off series Heroes: Reborn. Deadline is reporting that actor Jack Coleman is returning to the series as "The Man with the Glasses" or Agent Noah Bennett. He is the first alum from the original show to sign onto the spin-off. It's unknown if his on-screen daughter Hayden Panettiere (Who announced that she is pregnant recently) will return. But when asked about it several months ago she had no idea a new show was even happening!

Hayden Panettiere Had No Idea 'Heroes: Reborn' Was Happening
Today, actress Hayden Panettiere sat down with the guys over at Cosmopolitan to talk about the new Heroes TV Show. Apparently the actress who originally played Clarie Bennet had no idea a new series was even coming until her cousin told her:
"Well, it was a shock to me, I mean, we had nothing, nothing to do with it; it will definitely be interesting to see how they reinvent that."She goes onto say she hopes its new characters and not a reboot of her character thats very near and dear to her heart:
"I think it's a whole new set of characters, who knows? It's a little bit of an interesting feeling because you go, 'That was our show, our home, our family,' something that we had a major part in creating as well, and, I mean, I hope that they don't have somebody else playing our characters, that would be a little dagger in the heart. But, you never know. I wish them success in it, for sure."

NBC's 'Heroes' Will Return in 2015!
Thats right! Apparently there was a small teaser trailer during this past Olympics for Heroes: Reborn. I didn't see either. Now NBC has just announced that in 2015 a 13-Episode mini series event (Like 24: Live Another Day) will take place for your favorite Heroes:
“The enormous impact Heroes had on the television landscape when it first launched in 2006 was eye-opening,” said NBC Entertainment President Jennifer Salke. “Shows with that kind of resonance don’t come around often and we thought it was time for another installment. We’re thrilled that visionary creator Tim Kring was as excited about jumping back into this show as we were and we look forward to all the new textures and layers Tim plans to add to his original concept. Until we get closer to air in 2015, the show will be appropriately shrouded in secrecy, but we won’t rule out the possibility of some of the show’s original cast members popping back in.”
