At just 23, Jennifer Lawrence can pretty much retire now. I mean, she's done everything there is to do as an actress in Hollywood. She's led a huge blockbuster franchise (twice), she's an Oscar Winner (and nominated another two times) and the internet loves her. As I said, J-Law, you're free to retire. Jokes aside, Jennifer Lawrence recently discussed her role as Raven/Mystique in Bryan Singer's X-Men: Days Of Future Past. 

“He was in our script quite early. It’s not a big part in the script, he’s not there throughout the picture. Super speed’s been played throughout the series – Twilight uses it…I had some ideas of how to do the power, the speed, that I hadn’t seen before. So I started development with super high-speed photography and stuff like that, so yeah. It’s a fun character.”

"The thing that was exciting about it was bringing all these actors together," he told Empire. "What a cast! "But I've worked with great actors and I just thought, 'I've got to do my own thing'." "The script was great for X-Men, but I had Secret Service in my head," said Vaughn. "And this has always been Bryan [Singer]'s machine. It's come full circle."

Kind of Vaughn to pass the torch back to Bryan Singer. Stay tuned for more.



X-Men: Days of Future Past hits theaters May 23, 2014 and The Secret Service hits theaters March 2015.

As we all know during the final fight of The Wolverine, Logan had his adamantium claws cut away by the Silver Samurai. Bryan Singer has now revealed that we haven't seen the last of them thanks to Magneto.

"reconstitute the adamantium claws... [Wolverine] has a different relationship with Magneto, and perhaps Magneto could forge them."

Very vague thought but we will take what we can get.

Now this comes as a shocker but Bryan Singer has confirmed that Rogue (Anna Paquin) will NOT appear in the film come next May. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Bryan Singer went on to talk about why he had to cut her sequence in the film and Paquin's response.

“Through the editing process, the sequence became extraneous,” explains Singer. “It’s a really good sequence and it will probably end up on the DVD so people can see it. But like many things in the editing process, it was an embarrassment of riches and it was just one of the things that had to go. Unfortunately, it was the one and only sequence Anna Paquin was in, the Rogue character was in. Even though she’s in the materials and part of the process of making the film, she won’t appear in it.” 

                                
 

“She did a fantastic job,” says the director. “She was awesome in the sequence. She’s a brilliant actress. I would work with her in a heartbeat.” She completely understood,” he says. “It’s very disappointing, but she’s very professional and she knows that stuff happens, particularly with material you shoot early on in production. Films evolve.”

Singer is still currently editing the film and writing the next installment X-Men Apocalypse which comes to theaters in 2016.

Bryan Singer and company are heading back to Montreal for additional shooting for X-Men: Days of Future Past.

Hans Fraikin of the Quebec Film Commission has reported that the film will be back for a couple of weeks doing scenes for the upcoming "inbetween-quel".

Daniel Cudmore tweeted that he is back in Canada (assuming Montreal) so that is leading to the conclusion that his character Colossus will be in additional scenes for the film.

 Also this would be a perfect opportunity for Halle Berry's character Storm to be included more in the film since her pregnancy kept her from doing more strenuous action sequences for the film.

Singer also said the "future" scenes would only be 1/3 of the film so since Daniel Cudmore is back in Montreal, could Singer be filming more Sentinel action sequences?
