Jennifer Lawrence Talks X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST

At just 23, Jennifer Lawrence can pretty much retire now. I mean, she's done everything there is to do as an actress in Hollywood. She's led a huge blockbuster franchise (twice), she's an Oscar Winner (and nominated another two times) and the internet loves her. As I said, J-Law, you're free to retire. Jokes aside, Jennifer Lawrence recently discussed her role as Raven/Mystique in Bryan Singer's X-Men: Days Of Future Past.

Talking to the ZeeNews India, the actress revealed some intriguing details regarding the path of Mystique. Lawrence revealed she was surprised with the lack of darkness to her character. When First Class ended, Mystique left her best friend/brother, Charles Xavier, and Lawrence revealed she was, "Struggling back and forth with wanting to get darker," She later continued, "There was one scene where I couldn't get past thinking she'd shoot someone where she doesn't in the script," While we have seen how evil and manipulative Mystique can be (for reference, go re-watch X2), The Hunger Games star revealed, "We filmed it both ways, but I don't know which one they'll use."

Just this year, Lawrence was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress, for her role in American Hustle co-starring Man Of Steel star, Amy Adams and former Batman actor, Christian Bale. Lawrence revealed that she is a huge fan of Bryan Singer, and stated that it was, "Amazing," when she found out Bryan Singer would return. She continued, "There was a tiny fan boy jumping up and down and screaming when he decided to direct."

You can catch J-Law doing what she does best, on DVD and Blu-Ray now in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and be sure to check out Good Morning America tomorrow morning for an exclusive new trailer for X-Men: Days Of Future Past.
