Today, The Wrap exclusively learned that The Wolf of Wall Street and Tarzan star Margot Robbie has entered talks to star in the upcoming manga adaption of Ghost in the Shell. Currently Rupert Sanders is attached to direct this American adaption. Longtime Spider-Man producer Avi Arad is attached to also produce this project.
The manga story follows the exploits of a member of a covert ops unit of the Japanese National Public Safety Commission that specializes in fighting technology-related crime.Unknown if the movie will follow the Japanese storyline or be re-imagined for American audiences
