'X-Force' Seems To Be Delayed Due To 'X-Men: Apocalypse'

Last year it was announced that Kick-Ass 2 director Jeff Wadlow was hired to pen the script of the X-Men spin-off X-Force with the possibility of directing. Some suggested this would be a better way to re-introduce fan favorite Deadpool and partner Cable in a PG-13 setting. Then news on the project got extremely quiet.....Now X-Force and Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld has taken to twitter to reveal the announcement of X-Men: Apocalypse the sequel to X-Men: Days of Future Past is what put X-Force on the back burner....just like Deadpool it seems:
Jeff Wadlow script exists and is assumed to be completed but the director is now rumored to have moved onto Masters of the Universe while X-Force is put on ice.
