News on the DC Cinematic Universe Green Lantern has been practically non-existent beside the initial announcement of a solo film coming in 2020. We don't know if DC will reboot again with a new Hal Jordan after Ryan Reynolds played the character in 2011 or if a new Lantern will be brought into the Justice League. Well, Fast & Furious star Tyrese Gibson has taken to his official Instagram account to tease a fanart image of him as John Stewart the second Green Lantern. Could he be teasing that he has been in talks with DC about the role or just be campaigning for the role like so many other actors seem to do these days.
