Scoot McNairy Joins 'Batman v Superman' in a Secret Role...'Nightwing' is That You?!

Several days ago it was reported that actor Scoot McNairy has re-teamed with his Argo director Ben Affleck on Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. While the role he signed onto is being kept top secret the guys over at Latino-Review are speculating that it may indeed be for Nightwing! Nightwing is the adult version of the original boy wonder Dick Grayson.

Nightwing was a prominent secondary character in the original Batman vs Superman script by David Goyer but unknown if he was kept in the rewritten script by Chris Terrio. But again it's just speculated that McNairy is Nightwing nothing more...


In other Nightwing news The Vampire Dairies actor Steve McQueen has come clean that in late 2013 when he was campaigning for Nightwing on Arrow he was the one who started the rumor. But has now told The Wrap that if he gets a superhero role he might not even take it anymore: 

"If I get a chance to play a superhero, I can't make any promises that I'm not going to run with it,"

 So don't expect Nightwing to appear on Arrow anytime soon...but we also thought that about The Flash.
