Variety announced today that Rooney Mara (Sister of Kate Mara aka Invisible Woman) has been tapped to play Tiger Lilly in the upcoming Pan live-action reboot. She will join Hugh Jackman as Blackbeard and Garrett Hedlund as James Hook.
Peter has yet to be cast.
The film will be a new take on the classic story. It is set during World War II and follows an orphan named Peter who is kidnapped by pirates and brought to Neverland, where he discovers he’s destined to save the land from the pirate Blackbeard.
