When The Amazing Spider-Man hit theatres everywhere in July of 2012, many were confused over what happened to a seemingly important character, Rajit Ratha (played by Irfran Khan). Many assumed that Dr Ratha died on the bridge during Spider-Man's first confrontation with The Lizard, while others thought that the deleted scene (linked below) where Ratha is killed by The Lizard is actually in continuity with the film. Well, according to a new article on The Daily Bugle's Tumblr site, Ratha is in fact dead, and all signs point to The Lizard being the killer of Ratha. A resident of New York City, Ratha was born on March 13, 1967 in Jaipur, India. Ratha was the Director of Business Development in the Biogenetic Division of Oscorp in Manhattan.
