'Arrow' Producer Greg Berlanti Confirms Arrow & Man of Steel Universes Are Separate

With the ever expanding DC Cinematic Universe many have wondered will it crossover with the hit TV Show Arrow (And The Flash)? Well, it seems we may have finally gotten our answer. While speaking with Fandango Arrow producer Greg Berlanti reveals that no discussions have taken place between them and Warner Bros on a crossover:
“We haven't had any of those conversations other than to say, what characters are we allowed to use this year and advocate or request certain ones that are of interest to us. And every now and then, they'll say, 'You can't have that guy.' They don't say why, and we figure out why later on.”

Believe it or not it may be Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D's fault. WB may have at one time considered this but waited to see if a TV.Movie-verse could crossover like the new Marvel S.H.I.E.L.D show. Now that that show has bombed they may be making a smart move by keeping their TV/Movie-verses separate.

They do go onto say that just cause discussions haven't taken place doesn't mean it may never happen.....but for now we will never see Stephen Amell's Arrow or Grant Gustin's Flash up with Ben Affleck's Batman or Henry Cavill's Superman. One interesting question though....If WB allowed the Arrow team to use Barry Allen's Flash....have they given up on the film incarnation of the character?

Arrow hits every Wednesday on The CW
