James Gunn has been confirmed to return to write and direct Guardians of the Galaxy 2. With less than a week away to the premiere worldwide, Guardians co writer Nicole Perlman confirmed the directors return today. She goes on to talk about the positive reviews and about a potential sequel.




"They started to figure it out pretty quick when they started getting the reactions from the audience; it was a very positive reaction," Perlman revealed to The Wrap. 

"Of course they would want to make a sequel as long as it does well and people are excited about it, they'll wanna do a sequel. So, it's going to happen. James will be directing ‘Guardians 2,’ so he would also be writing ‘Guardians 2."

                               
Last week, James Gunn tweeted that he and the crew were going back for additional filming at Walt Disney Studios. GuardtheGalaxy.com reports that Chris Pratt and Michael Rooker where taking part in the shoot.  Now comes this interesting bit, new set photos have surfaced from the studio showing government vehicles, one in particular with......SHIELD logos on them.

Even though GOTG takes place on the other side of the universe, it seems that an after credits scene is being filmed. During the AMC Talk, a question was asked to Kevin Feige about Guardians being connected to the rest of the MCU and he kinda evaded the question. Check out more of the photos below.
