Is Disney Considering a 'Mace Windu' Origin Spin-Off Movie In The Future?!

Several days ago will promoting his upcoming Abraham Lincoln project The Better Angels director A.J Edwards took part of the ever so popular Reddit AMA to talk about the project. A fan then asked the director about a supposed rumor that he may be directing an upcoming Star Wars spin-off movie in the future to which the director mentioned Mace Windu:

Now while this is no legitimate proof of a Mace Windu spin-off it is interesting. Of course this could have simply a cheeky response by the director like if he said he was doing a Jar Jar Binks origin movie. To which no one would take seriously, so keep that in mind.


But on the slight chance that Lucasfilm would do a Mace Windu story down the line a great young actor to take up after Samuel L Jackson should be Fantastic Four star Michael B. Jordan. He was already being consider for Star Wars: The Force Awakens before he had to back out to do Fantastic Four.

Of course with something this secretive you should take this with a massive grain of salt. Other potential Star Wars spin-offs include Boba Fett, Yoda and Obi-Wan Kenobi.
