Brandon Molale & Daniel Cudmore Campaign to Star in DC's 'Shazam'

Now that we finally have gotten word today that Dwayne Johnson will in fact play the main villain in DC's Shazam aka Black Adam it begs the question. Who will actually star as Shazam himself? Also, who will play his young alter-ego Billy Batson? Well several actors have already thrown their names into the ring via Twitter campaigning for the role of Shazam! They include Dodgeball star Brandon Morel who was actually in talks for the role back in 2007 when the movie was first conceived. As well as X-Men: Days of Future Past star Daniel Cudmore. At the end of the day it has to be someone who can match or even surpass Dwayne Johnson on screen cause Shazam is the main character not Black Adam....

Other fan casting names thrown into the mix is Dwayne Johnsons Pain & Gain star Mark Wahlberg who just came off his biggest role in Transformers: Age of Extinction which has since passed $1 Billion at the worldwide box office. Other names is True Blood's Joe Manganiello who is seriously fan-casted in every superhero role going back years.
