Last night was the critics screening of Marvel's next space epic Guardians of the Galaxy and it seems to be creating some great buzz. Not that it's another Marvel win but that its "so James Gunn" in the way the film comes on screen. Now the logical question is will director James Gunn return for the sequel? While speaking on The Adam Corolla Show he reveals that he has other film gigs offered already. But if Guardians of the Galaxy does well he will indeed return for the sequel:
“I’m actually in a somewhat weird position. Because if the movie does well, then I’m gonna make the sequel. And if it does okay then, well, I’ve already been offered other movies but I can only do those other movies if I don’t do the sequel, so it’s a weird situation.”Now according to some leaked info from the set of The Avengers: Age of Ultron it seems the final fight sequence sets up a Guardians of the Galaxy sequel. And with Marvel Studios announcing 5 more untitled movies through 2019 a sequel only seems....logical.
