Drew Goddard Steps Down From Marvel's 'Daredevil' TV Series

Trouble in paradise indeed! Only a day after director Edgar Wright stepped down on Ant-Man which he has been working on for 6 years we get another set back. According to Latino-Review showrunner and writer Drew Goddard has stepped down from the upcoming Netflix show Daredevil.

Given it's a holiday weekend his representatives were unable to be reached for comment. Last we had heard Drew Godard had been hired by Sony to helm Sinister Six. This obviously left many to wonder if he would still stay on at Marvel to complete Daredevil. He was scheduled to write and direct the first episode which maybe the only thing he has stepped down from and will stay on as the showrunner but that's unknown at this point.

Let me just speculate here but what if Marvel has asked Drew Goddard to take over for Ant-Man? Its entirely possible.

Daredevil is expected to shoot this summer with a 2015 release date on Netflix...Maybe HYDRA has infiltrated Marvel Studios...
