Director Bryan Singer Confirms Young Storm, Jean Grey & Cyclops in 'X-Men: Apocalypse'

While promoting his recent X-film X-Men: Days of Future Past director Bryan Singer was of course asked about his next project X-Men: Apocalypse. We already got confirmation that the story will take place in the 1980's with the X-Men: First Class cast as the primary cast. But what about some new editions to the team? He goes onto say "My next goal is how did the X-Men come together?" he told SciFi Now (via Comic Book Movie):
"That story hasn't been told yet, so [Days of Future Past] is the inbetweenquel. [Laughs] It's in between the birth of that relationship with Charles and Erik and the formation of the X-Men."

When asked if the film will feature younger versions of the original X-Men Storm, Jean Grey and Cyclops he confirms:
"Yeah, exactly. In a way, it feels like from this point forward we can do whatever we wants but we'll be moving forward with some of the actors from the First Class/Days of Future Past cast, so there's stuff we've done in these last couple of movies that we'll definitely continue doing for them, at least in Apocalypse, if not more movies going forward."
X-Men: Days of Future Past hits May 23rd; X-Men: Apocalypse hits May 2016
