'Teeange Mutant Ninja Turtles' Voices Have Been Re-Cast
Deadline is reporting that even though Pete Ploszek and Danny Woodburn physically played Leonardo and Splinter respectively in shooting Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles director Jonathan Liebsman and Paramount was always open to voice-overing their parts with another actor.
Now it seems that Bad Grampa star Johnny Knoxville and Monk star Tony Shalhoub have been cast to voice both Leo and Splinter. With the film premiering this August it seems very odd to start this process so late. Its unknown if Raphael (Alan Richardson), Donatello (Jeremy Howard) or Michelangelo (Noel Fisher) voices will also be recast.
Lastly, it seems that both Megan Fox and Will Arnett have indeed returned for reshoots as of last week. There was also a rumor that the release date will once again be delayed because of these reshoots but that has yet to be confirmed....
