In Late 2012 (Like with every casting announcement) the internet blew up at the sight of The Decedents star Shailene Woodley taking on the role of Mary Jane Watson in a couple scenes in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Going on and on how the actress isn't hot enough or sexy enough etc etc. Director Marc Webb then came out and said they will be cutting her from the film as a means to keep the story focused on Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy.
Woodley has since gone onto star in The Spectacular Now and tween blockbuster Divergent. Total Film has now sat down with the actress who in the past revealed she may not return due to Divergent sequels....now it seems she may not even want to return.....who could blame her?
