Rogue and Young Scarlet Witch To Appear in 'X-Men: Days of Future Past'

About a month ago director Bryan Singer revealed in a press release that Rogue played by Anna Paquin will be cut from his upcoming X-Men film Days of Future Past. This upset many fans. Even though Anna Paquin didn't really play the badasss mutant we all know Rogue is. We all still felt like she should have been in the film! A petition was even started to put Rouge back in the film..

Then a few days ago Paquin showed up as Rogue on Empire Magazines 25 Mutant covers to promote Days of Future Past. This confused many fans given she has seemingly been cut from the film. Now Bryan Singer seems to elaborate that she was cut out of just an action sequence not the whole movie:
"It was one real sequence in the movie. It does not mean that we won't see her in the film. Also, I hope to make the sequence available on the DVD as she was quite wonderful in it. She is an important part of the X-Men family. I 'm very pleased she will remain as one of Empire's anniversary covers."
My guess was that he was really going to remove her from the film (even though shes in the trailer already...twice!) but given the fan outrage he deiced to leave her in a couple scenes in the background or something.

Some low-quality scans from the X-Men: Days of Future Past empire magazine shows a small surprise. It shows Quicksilver (Evan Peters with what appears to be a younger Scarlet Witch. FOX may not be allowed to use them as twins since Marvel already declared them in their universe as twins. Going to be played by Aaron-Taylor Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen.

X-Men: Days of Future Past hits this May!
