In a interview with Total Film, Emma Stone talks about how her character Gwen Stacy doesn't need a certain webslinger to come to the rescue. According to Stone, we should expect more from Gwen in this upcoming sequel. A question came up asking how many times does Spidey actually save her during the film in which she replied:
"Not many. I can think of one important instance. "She saves him more than he saves her. She's incredibly helpful to Spider-Man... He's the muscle, she's the brains."
Stone also goes on to talk about what type of stunts she does for the movie.
"I don't get to do too many crazy stunts. She gets herself in the middle of stuff, that's for sure! I do get webbed to a car. There's shit like that."
