Today news broke that Gal Gadot has been cast as Wonder Woman in Batman vs Superman. Well over at Variety they also dropped the news that The Flash (Assuming Barry Allen but we can't be sure) is a lock for an appearance also!
The Wonder Woman rumor has been kicking around for some time, and insiders believe the plan is to have not just Batman and Superman in the film but several members of the Justice League as well. It’s unclear which members, but Wonder Woman (Diana Prince) and the Flash are said to be locks to make an appearance in some fashion, whether that’s a significant role or a cameo.Now at one point CBM broke the news that WB is considering Grant Gustin. If his take on Barry Allen is well received on Arrow which debuts tonight on The CW. If he is well received he is in if not they will recast. Now this news has been shot down by several news sources but never officially debunked. Never-the-Less the Scarlet Speedster is going to be in Batman vs Superman!
I'd like to point out that Grant Gustin would have basically completed an entire season of The Flash by the time Batman vs Superman came out just for this cameo. As well as being The Flash for a number of years before Justice League team up movie. Plus....Flash has always been the smartass youngster of the League.
The real question is where does this leave Ryan Reynolds Green Lantern? Will they bring him back for Justice League even though he isn't very interested or simply acknowledge his existence and move onto another human Green Lantern like John Stewart?
