Today The Hollywood Reporter broke that Termintor is headed back to the small screen! It will also follow the new fad of crossing the TV Universe with the events from the new Movie:
"[The Show] will follow a critical moment from the first Terminator film (1984) and, where the film's story goes one way, the upcoming series will take the same moment in a completely different direction. As the rebooted film trilogy and the new TV series progress, the two narratives will intersect with each other in some surprising and dramatic ways."This comes 4 years after the conclusion of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles but as for the movie, they add that
"Schwarzenegger will reprise his famed role in the new trilogy that is described as a time-spanning story that sees him tasked to protect Sarah Connor as she grows up."This comes after the announcement that Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones) was the front runner to play Sarah Connor in the new movie. In other news over at Feature Film Casting they have stated that the new film has been retitled from Terminator 5 to Terminator: Genesis. Since an official announcement hasn't gone out on the title take with a grain of salt...
