Any news on the upcoming Crow reboot based on the graphic novel has been scarce. The project has have had several directors attached as well as several actors. First we heard that Bradley Cooper would be playing the rock-god turned vigilante Eric Darven. The we heard that Dracula Untold star Luke Evans was attached to star after several director changes. Now The Wrap has learned that he also has left the project and the film has once again hit a stand-still. They do however go onto reveal Loki himself Tom Hiddleston screen tested for the role but it's unknown if he will be available to take the role.

Today, Deadline announced that new comer director Corin Hardy has been tapped to direct the upcoming reboot of the 1990's cult classic The Crow. Currently Luke Evans (Dracula: Untold) is set to star in the project. Hardy isn't known for directing making this his only second feature film after next year's The Hallow. Previous director F. Javier Gutiérrez left the project to direct The Ring 3.

Schmoes Know has dropped yet another scoop. According to their source 'The Phantom' it looks like everyone's favorite redneck from AMC's The Walking Dead Norman Reedus may end up joining The Crow reboot.Most websites ran this story thinking that Reedus was replacing actor Luke Evans (After he replaced Bradley Cooper) but Reedus is actually up for a supporting role named James.

In another part of the scoop apparently they were looking at actress Kristien Stewart (The Twilight Saga) to play the love interest but passed on her due to the audience mass dislike of her as an actress.

This reboot is set to star Luke Evans as Eric Draven (Orignally played by Brandon Lee) a rockstar who is murdered along with his girlfriend and comes back to life to seek revenge. It is based off the cult classic 1989 comic book of the same name.
