While the hunt continuous to find Rick Flagg after both Tom Hardy & Jake Gyllenhaal passed on the role several new names have popped up in contention. According to CinemaBlend Fury and Walking Dead star Jon Bernthal and Warrior star Joel Edgerton maybe eyed for the role. It should be noted that Jon Bernthal did work on Fury together with Suicide Squad director David Ayer and might be inclined to work again. They also add that True Blood star Joe Manganiello is being eyed for the badass role of Deathstroke in the film. Also, Latino-Review went on to reveal that heard that Oscar nominee Gary Sinise is in talks to play General Eiling for the film.
