Several months ago we had heard a rumor that longtime Batman ally James Gordon will have since been deceased during the time of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. This would leave pretty large shoes to fill by a character and in turn actor who could take over. While visiting the Shanlian on Batman podcast over the weekend Forbes Magazine writer Mark Hughes drops the news that Ellen Yindal (made famous in The Dark Knight Returns) may take over the role of Commissioner for the GCPD in a Batman solo film:
