Today, Deadline announced that Ryan Reynolds has officially signed onto star in FOX's upcoming X-Men spinoff Deadpool. This comes as no surprise given the actor has kept the project alive since 2009 when the idea was first conceived after Wade Wilson's appearance in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. The site goes onto reveal shooting will begin in March 2015 with first time director Tim Miller attached. The script was written by Zombieland scribes Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick.
