Emma Stone and Melissa McCarthy Interested in Female 'Ghostbusters' Reboot

Known to many now as simply 'The Hacking' has brought to light many interesting tidbits regarding Sony's financial and salary earnings as well as news on Spider-Man going to Marvel. Now a new email has surfaced from The Daily Beast regarding the highly anticipated female Ghostbusters reboot. In an email from Sony head Amy Pascal to producer Ivan Reitman reveals that some big name female stars are inserted in Ghostbusters including the already announced Jennifer Lawrence (The Hunger Games) as well as Emma Stone (The Amazing Spider-Man, Movie 43) and Melissa McCarthy (Bridesmaids):
“Agree that everyone is way too nervous about how this issue and how we. present it but it's isn't a sequel to the 80s movies and it is gonna be totally original with completely different characters and our job is to find a clever way to connect the movie to the original franchise so that we can use all the assets and everything that is great about the original franchise. Paul's movie is gonna be the first one and from what I'm hearing Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Stone and Melissa McCarthy and Amy Schumer and Lizzy Kaplan just to name a few have already said they wanted to be in....”
Melissa McCarthy is definitely on top of everyone's list for this reboot given her connection with director Paul Feig. Also, Pitch Perfect star Rebel Wilson also revealed several days ago she had met with the director about the movie.
