Zack Snyder's upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is about to wrap up filming very soon (Henry Cavill's Superman has already completed filming). They are now currently shooting the scenes in New Mexico which will serve as a backdrop to Wonder Woman's homeland of Themyscira. Now while rumors have minimal on set a new Instagram post has revealed something very interesting. According to this "on set report" DC is setting up for Aquaman (Jason Momoa) and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) to actually be cousins in this new DC Cinematic Universe:
One thing I wanted to share is that recently I have received a speculating intel source from an insider in the onset which is that these scenes in New Mexico of Wonder Woman in her home of Themyscira with Gal Gadot, this perhaps will be the cameo in where we will see Aquaman Jason Momoa in argument with his COUSIN Wonder Woman & her family for what happen on earth with the invasion of Zod. Supposedly they are disputing if Wonder Woman & her family (Amazons) such as Zeus ect ect, is unable to maintain control, peace & authority from threats of other realms trying to invade other worlds then Aquaman & his family (Atlanteans) will be taking lead of the situations. Also in which he is the heir to the Throne of Atlantis meaning that this points out that Poseidon will die or will be already dead for the storyline of Batman V Superman Dawn Of Justice. This is the intel of the onset but then again just take it with a grain of salt for it is not a solid confirmation.
Now while this of course could be totally made up it does line up with producer Charles Roven's recent comments that Diana Prince will be the daughter of Zeus based off her New 52 origin. This of course would make Arthur Curry the son of Poseidon. Which would make his mother human. This intel also hints to what may come in Aquman's origin movie set for 2018.
Of course we would never have looked twice at this small tidbit if Roven's comments didn't come out first about Wonder Woman's origin. But again take with a massive grain of salt....But hey it sounds better then the recent Clash of the Titans films.
