Deadline is reporting that Warner Brothers is currently negotiating with Jeese Eisenberg to reprise his role of Lex Luthor in DC Comics upcoming super villain team-up movie Suicide Squad! This is interesting given that both Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad will debut in 2016 both with Eisenberg as Luthor. His role is most likely not that large compared to other villains like Deadshot, Captain Boomerrang or even Harley Quinn but that's all speculation. Also,this means WB must be extremely impressed with Eisenberg's young take on such an iconic super villain to sign him into another film.
Jeese Eisenberg unfortunately has a slate of films he is signed onto including Now You See Me 2 and Arms and The Dudes. He will ultimately have to choose between Arms and The Dudes or Suicide Squad for that 2016 release date. Also, Zombieland 2 is currently in the works but it's unknown when that will be released.
Will Smith, Ryan Gosling, Tom Hardy and Margot Robbie are currently all rumored for leading roles in this massive super villain team-up! Fury director David Ayer is slated to helm this massive project...
