You read that title correctly. Sony Pictures is moving forward with a Robin Hood cinematic universe (via The Hollywood Reporter) just like Marvel's The Avengers. The original movie pitch titled Hood by Cory Goodman and Jeremy Lott follows the outlaw Robin Hood and how he meets his Merry Men like John Little and Will Scarlett. This would lead to solo spin-offs down the road eventually..
This is along lines of how King Arthur is getting his own cinematic universe that will give spin-offs to some of the Knights of the Roundtable. But this is just a little to much....
