Late last month it was revealed that front runner for Marvel's Doctor Strange Joaquin Phoenix had dropped out of negotiations for the lead role. Now Badass Digest is reporting that Star Wars star himself Ewan McGregor is the latest name to be rumored for the Sorcerer Supreme. This comes after names like Benedict Cumberbatch, Jared Leto and Tom Hardy were also rumored for the lead role.
With production of Doctor Strange beginning early next year casting on the character needs to happen as soon as possible....but the idea of Obi-Wan Kenobi possibly a Marvel superhero is pretty great idea.
Doctor Strange is expected to hit Summer 2016
