'Fury' Director David Ayer Circling DC Comics 'Suicide Squad' The Movie

No, this will not be an adaption of Task Force X we have seen on The CW's Arrow but en entire film based on the super villains of the DC Universe. According to The Hollywood Reporter director David Ayer (End of Watch, Training Day) is eyeing Warner Brothers upcoming villain-lead movie Suicide Squad. David Ayer who's new World War II movie Fury starring Brad Pitt is out next month and is already generating a lot of buzz. Also just this past January some supposed pages from the Suicide Squad script written by Justin Marks leaked online and you can view that HERE.

This won't be the first villain based superhero film we will see since Sony is already hard at work on their own Sinister Six film. But with villain movies on the horizon this could open an entire new sub-genre of comic book films that we have yet to see....Now we just need Marvel Studios to get on that Thunderbolts movie!

Now this is not a confirmation that David Ayer will indeed direct Suicide Squad but it is an indication that DC is moving past their four Justice League characters for something way more obscure...
