    'Captain America' To Start Another Avengers Team After 'Age of Ultron' ?!

    Today, the guys over at Badass Digest received a scoop on Marvel's upcoming Avengers: Age of Ultron. It's a scoop revolving the end of the film and what happens to Captain America. This might be considered a spoilers so for those who would not like to be spoiled.

    :: Possible Spoilers Ahead ::

    The site goes onto claim that this scene may not have been shot yet and may still be cut from the film but that in the draft of the script Captain America (Chris Evans) will depart from the current Avengers to create his own Avengers team:
    This isn't a big part of the movie. This new version of The Avengers isn't involved in an action sequence or anything. So changing the characters can be done up until the last minute without hurting the story itself. What this bit accomplishes is basically pointing the way to Phase Three, saying "These characters will be important."
    Once again they claim that in drafts of the script Carol Danvers will make a cameo appearance at the end of the film leaving with Captain America. They will indeed call her Ms. Marvel instead of her new name in the comics Captain Marvel (DC is staying away from that name as well simply calling their Captain Marvel "Shazam")
    "There's enough time passed between the end of the action in Age of Ultron and that final scene for Carol Danvers to get powers, a costume and have a career as a hero, but the powers-that-be aren't sure how this will play on film. Will dropping her in just be baffling to audiences?"
    They go onto to reveal that the team will indeed follow Ultron to the African city of Wakanda (Which we speculated HERE last year) but unfortunately Black Panther (Rumored to be played by Chadwick Boseman) will not making an appearance.

    But what possible team could Ms. Marvel and Captain America be creating? If you look at the current line-up of Avengers like Hawkeye and some new ones including Vision, Quicksilver, and Scarlet Witch. It looks like a West Coast Avengers team could be in the works (Speculated several days ago by Celluloid and Cigarette Burns). This isn't really a new idea given only so many characters can be on one team at a time. Several months ago Unleash the Fanboy released an exclsuive that stated Marvel was looking to create a new Avengers team after the events of Age of Ultron.

     We had also heard this from an unknown source and did not run the story given it wasn't credible but with this new development we thought we share what we had heard. Again, this is not a scoop but just added information to the already established information. Well over 6 months ago we had gotten word from a source who has a friend in the UK that Marvel Studios was in the UK talking about costume designs for a New Avengers team. When we asked if they simply meant the "New" Avengers movie (i.e Age of Ultron) the source insisted that it was a new team of Avengers that Marvel was looking to create. Now could this be the West Coast Avengers? or the New Avengers is anyone's guess. A team called "New Avengers" would make the original Avengers redundant to the general audience so Marvel may be going with the name West Coast Avengers but both teams may be one-in-the-same.

    It should also be noted that recently  Adrianne Palicki (G.I. Joe: Retaliation) had joined the show Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D as the female hero Mockingbird. If some of you who don't know Mockingbird along with Vision,Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver is a West Coast Avenger as well as longtime Hawkeye love interest. The fact Marvel went out of their way to cast a movie star in only a TV guest appearance seems very suspicious. There maybe more here then what Marvel is leading on....

    Lastly, if Captain America was to leave The Avengers who will lead the original Avengers....most likely none other than Iron Man himself Tony Stark. If this is indeed the case and Captain America has his own team with Iron Man in his own team what are the chances after The Infinity Gauntlet we get a full fledged Marvel: Civil War.

    The Avengers: Age of Ultron hits May 2015
