THE FLASH is gaining traction to be one of the most anticipated new shows this fall. With the recent announcement that Robbie Amell will now be playing Firestorm, we’re starting to wonder what other casting surprises the CW has up its DC-sleeve. Via Comicbook.com, set photos have emerged featuring The Shawshank Redemption and Iron Man 3 star William Sadler with, shall we say, a Mist-y look in his eyes.
Sadler was quick to confirm this casting rumor as both @CWTVFlash and Sadler’s personal twitter @Wm_Sadler made the announcement that he will be playing Simon Stagg, AKA The Mist, in the second episode of THE FLASH. See the set photo below.
