Today, it was announced (via DC Comics) that Robbie Amell from The Tomorrow People and cousin to Arrow's Stephen Amell has joined The Flash as Firestorm. This comes off early last year Stephen Amell trying to convince the Arrow writers to bring his cousin Robbie on as Bruce Wayne. Obviously the higher ups would never allow Bruce Wayne on the show but they must have liked Robbie so much on their original show The Tomorrow People that they have since brought him into the Arrow-verse just on the spin-off series The Flash.
