After seven seasons on HBO’s True Blood, actress Deborah Ann Woll will join the Marvel drama on in its first Netflix original series. The Hollywood Reporters reports that Woll, 29, will star as Karen Page, the Nelson and Murdock secretary and love interest of Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock, AKA Daredevil.
Woll joins Daredevil’s already impressive cast, including Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, Elden Henson, Rosario Dawson, in an undisclosed role, and the recently announced Peter Shinkoda.
Marvel’s Daredevil will run alongside Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, and Luke Cage, all TBA. Much like the stand-alone Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, and Captain America films, in true Avengers fashion, an epic Defenders miniseries will conclude each character-driven series.
