    Channing Tatum's 'Gambit' Will Be First Introduced in 'X-Men: Apocalypse'


    Today, Lauren Shuler Donner the producer on all X-Men films confirmed that Channing Tatum will indeed be Gambit in the future. Many didn't know if this statement ment for a stand-alone origin story or in another X-Men film. Well, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed the deal is done for both a future standalone film and his version of Gambit will first be introduced in Bryan Singer's X-Men: Apocalypse:
    "Multiple sources say that Tatum will get a stand-alone spinoff, with his version of Gambit being introduced in X-Men: Apocalypse. The stand-alone film is still in development, however, and no director has been attached."
    As many who are aware of the multiple incarnations of the "Four Horseman" story-lines at one point Gambit is called upon by the villain Apocalypse as the Horseman "Death". Unknown if this will be used in the future film though...

    Lastly, with Bryan Singer confirming that we will see younger 1980's version's of Cyclops, Jean Grey and Storm some fans have thrown Neighbors star Zac Efron in the mix as a potential young Scott Summers aka Cylcops:
