Following yesterday's awesome news, regarding the release date of the third Wolverine film, Deadline is reporting that David James Kelly, most known for writing and directing short films such as Stay Sill and The Recruit, will pen the screenplay. With shooting set to commence in 2016, following the release of X-Men: Apocalypse, which rumour has it, will feature Hugh Jackman's Wolverine once more. Kelly interestingly has written a Fox/Marvel film before, sadly the film never saw the light of day. This film was the supposed Daredevil reboot, which was set to be directed by The Grey director, Joe Caranahan.
Hugh Jackman is set to return for the 9th time as Logan/Wolverine, with The Wolverine director, James Mangold set to return aswell. Wolverine 3 is set to hit theatres everywhere on March 3rd, 2017.
