Gary Oldman Has Some Advice For Ben McKenzie On Playing 'Detective Gordon'

Ben McKenzie will have some huge shoes to fill when it comes to playing James Gordon in FOX upcoming prequel show Gotham. Last we saw Commissioner Gordon was in Nolans films played perfectly by Gary Oldman.

Now Gary Oldman has some advice for the upcoming Detective Gordon about playing one of Batman's most trusted friend's:

“I’m sure he’s going to be fabulous. Go back to the comic books. That’s what I did,” the actor, who is currently starring in “RoboCop. There’s great stuff about Gordon. He had whole other life,”
