One of the small complaints and confusion that came with the recent Guardians of the Galaxy trailer was that apparently the hero Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) was charged with a 'sex crime' by the Nova Corp. Well, many were confused by this and might have thought it was something very un-hero like and dark. Well the director of Guardians of the Galaxy James Gunn has come out via Facebook to explain its not what you think:
I'm getting a lot of questions about Peter Quill's "sex crime" as listed on his rap sheet in the trailer - "illegal manipulation of a Gramosian Duchess." Just to explain, Quill was seduced by the Duchess and, as anyone who has been to Gramos knows, it's illegal for regular folk to be intimate with royalty there. So there you go.So this 'sex crime' was nothing more then a regular dude being intimate with royalty.
